Jack Chen Speaks at Asia 2012 Conference Sponsored by Harvard University

洛杉矶 – Transworld Capital Group’s Founder & CEO, Jack Z. Chen, spoke recently at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) annual Asia Conference in Taipei, Taiwan. With annual gatherings in Asia and Boston, HPAIR is sponsored by Harvard University and leading companies from the US and the Asia Pacific Region.
With over 500 attendees and 150 speakers, this year’s conference theme was: “Challenges and Prospects – Envisioning Global Transformations.” Panel discussions covered a range of key international relations issues in the Pacific Rim including energy, entrepreneurship, finance, health and human rights, democracy, national security, and media. Speakers this year included senior government officials in Taiwan and top executives in the Asia Pacific Region, such as Cheng-Hsiung Chiu, Vice Premier of Taiwan and Minister of Finance, Mark Chen, Senior Managing Director and Head of GE Capital Equity, Asia and Eberhard Kern, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Taiwan. Past HPAIR speakers have included former South Korean President Kim Dae-Jung, former Massachusetts Governor and US Presidential candidate Michael Dukakis, and former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahatir Bin Mohamad.
