TCG Joins Panel at the CEC Annual Conference and Symposium on US States-China Provinces Economic and Trade Cooperation in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - TCG Founder & CEO, Jack Z. Chen was a panelist for the China Enterprise Council Symposium on U.S. States-China Provinces Economic and Trade Cooperation exploring measures to strengthen Los Angeles' strategic role to promote US-China bilateral partnerships. This year's symposium at the L.A. Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, co-hosted by the Los Angeles County Economic Development Cooperation, the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bay Area Council, welcomed a delegation lead by Vice Minister of Commerce of the P.R. China Wang Chao, and Vice Chairwoman of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Ms. Bu Xioalin. Wang Chao pointed out, "in the coming five years, Chinese outbound imports will surpass 10 trillion US dollars in value, with Chinese overseas investments exceeding a total of 50 billion dollars, and Chinese citizens will make over four hundred million trips abroad. This will be an incredible opportunity for Los Angeles."

The event was attended by over 300 government officials, business executives and CEC members, including Consul General of P.R. China Liu Jian, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Supervisor of Los Angeles County's Fifth District Michael Antonovich and Senior advisor from the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown Mike Rossi.

CEC President Zhang Xuming emphasized that "Being the crucial gateway to Asia, Los Angeles is an important city for Chinese enterprises entering into the U.S. market." On the panel facilitated by Milken Institute and PwC, TCG's CEO Jack Z. Chen, joined head of PwC's China Business Services Alan Chu, Founder and CEO of Highridge Partners John Long, Vice President and General Manager of Air China North America Chi Zhihang and President of BYD Motors Stella Li, to discuss new developments in cross-border initiatives and commercial partnerships.
